Pledging Love, Trust, and Loyalty to Jesus.

Pledging Love

To worship God is to love Him, therefore, we express love in joyful obedience.

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments (John 14:15)."

Pledging Trust

To worship God is to trust Him, there, we count Him and His word as reliable.

He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken. It will be said on that day, "Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation (Is. 25:6-9)."

Pledging Loyalty

To worship God is to be loyal to Him, therefore we give allegiance to one King and one Kingdom.

“...every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Messiah is Lord (Phil 2:11).”

Encouraging One Another Along the Narrow Path

Encouraging Another

Following Jesus requires the aid of other disciples, therefore we give ourselves to encouragment.

“…encouraging, comforting, and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory (1 Thessalonians 2:12).”

Walking the Narrow Path

Following Jesus means giving up everything and carrying a cross (Luke 14:27) to stay on the narrow path that leads to life (Matthew 7:13-14).

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope- the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Messiah, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good ( Titus 2:11-14)."

Bearing Witness to the Gospel in Word & Deed

Bearing Witness in Word

We preach the gospel with our words.

"You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Messiah Jesus, who is Lord of all. . . . We are WITNESSES of everything He did...they killed him by hanging him on a cross, but God raised Him from the deadHe commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name. (Acts 10:36-43)."

Bearing Witness in Deed

Our message must be backed up by our lifestyle.

"By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 17 But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth (1 John 3:16-18)."
